Security Supervisor (SS)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all security guards, lady guards, and escorts deployed at the assigned client site
• Prepare and manage duty rosters — ensure all posts are covered across all shifts
• Conduct daily attendance checks and maintain accurate attendance records for all deployed security staff
• Ensure all deployed security personnel are in proper uniform and correctly posted at their positions
• Conduct regular patrol inspections to verify guard performance and site security standards
• Be the primary point of contact for the client site manager on all security matters
• Manage access control at the site — visitor management, vehicle checking, material movement
• Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and alarms at the site
• Maintain all site security documentation — attendance registers, visitor logs, incident reports, duty handover records
• Coordinate guard replacements during absences, emergencies, and shift changes
• Report all incidents, performance issues, and site concerns to the Assistant Security Officer
• Conduct site inductions for newly deployed security staff and verify their understanding of site protocols

Requirements

• No minimum educational qualification required
• 1–2 years of experience as a security guard or in a security supervisory role
• Demonstrated leadership ability — capable of managing and directing a team of security personnel
• Good knowledge of access control, visitor management, and site security protocols
• Physical fitness and ability to conduct regular site patrols
• Punctuality, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts including night shifts

Nice to Have

• Ex-serviceman or ex-police background is a strong advantage
• Prior experience as a security supervisor at a corporate, hospital, or industrial site
• Knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, and first aid procedures
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and access control technology
