Assistant Security Operations Manager
The Assistant Security Operations Manager supports the Security Operations Manager in overseeing all security operations across assigned client portfolios in Chennai. You will manage a team of Security Executives and Supervisors, ensure professional security service delivery across multiple client sites, and play a key role in client satisfaction and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor Security Operations Executives and Supervisors across assigned client portfolios
- Monitor overall security service quality, guard attendance, and compliance across all assigned sites
- Conduct regular client review meetings and maintain high client satisfaction across all security accounts
- Support the Security Operations Manager in manpower planning, guard deployment, and budget management
- Handle escalated client complaints and security incidents that cannot be resolved at Executive level
- Ensure all deployed security guards hold valid background verification and required documentation
- Review and approve operational reports from Security Operations Executives
- Support new client onboarding — site security assessment, guard deployment planning, protocol definition
- Monitor statutory compliance for all deployed security staff — PF, ESI, Tamil Nadu minimum wages
- Identify operational gaps and recommend security service improvements to the Security Operations Manager
Requirements
- Any degree from a recognised university — MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in security operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Proven ability to manage teams and multiple security client accounts simultaneously
- Strong communication skills in Tamil and English
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and presentations
- Understanding of Tamil Nadu Private Security Agencies Regulation Act and related compliance
- Experience in client relationship management at an operational level
Nice to Have
- Prior experience as Assistant Manager in a security services company in Chennai
- Experience managing a portfolio of 20+ security client sites
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems
