Assistant Security Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor Security Operations Executives and Supervisors across assigned client portfolios
• Monitor overall security service quality, guard attendance, and compliance across all assigned sites
• Conduct regular client review meetings and maintain high client satisfaction across all security accounts
• Support the Security Operations Manager in manpower planning, guard deployment, and budget management
• Handle escalated client complaints and security incidents that cannot be resolved at Executive level
• Ensure all deployed security guards hold valid background verification and required documentation
• Review and approve operational reports from Security Operations Executives
• Support new client onboarding — site security assessment, guard deployment planning, protocol definition
• Monitor statutory compliance for all deployed security staff — PF, ESI, Tamil Nadu minimum wages
• Identify operational gaps and recommend security service improvements to the Security Operations Manager

Requirements

• Any degree from a recognised university — MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in security operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Proven ability to manage teams and multiple security client accounts simultaneously
• Strong communication skills in Tamil and English
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and presentations
• Understanding of Tamil Nadu Private Security Agencies Regulation Act and related compliance
• Experience in client relationship management at an operational level

Nice to Have

• Prior experience as Assistant Manager in a security services company in Chennai
• Experience managing a portfolio of 20+ security client sites
• Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems
